Upgrades+Oblivion

I bought Bioshock for the PC awhile ago. when I installed it (via Steam) I found out that my video card was a lot less potent as I thought it was, it had quickshader 2, not shader model 3, and it was only 128 mb, not 256mb like I thought, so I decided to get a new video card. 5 days ago I placed an order for a 512 MB EVGA card with shader model 4.0, once this arrives (could take up to 2 more days) I can finally play Bioshock.

I recently reinstalled The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion mainly to play through the game’s many sidequests, without any mods. Sadly the game continued it’s onld problem of crashing after about an hour of game play time, in the past I thought it was related to the Mods I had in, but it turns out it’s most likely my video carrd.

Still, I would highly reccommend Oblivion as an Adventure game, it’s played in first person or third person, though it’s harder to play in third person because you don’t have a crosshair. It’s not all that great in terms of items and skills besides jump height, damage, special attacks, and movement speed. it has an interesting storyline, and an extreme ammount of sidequests. the graphics are not all that bad, it’s very versatile that way, and there are many mods you can find to enhance textures or models, as well as add new equipment, npcs, areas, dungeons, houses, quests, and more. it’s an excelent game.

it’s not much but it helps me get by. I only recently found Bon Jovi and Nine Inch Nails. I know, I was raised in a rock. I only started really listening to music a lot about a year ago when I got my first MP3 player, it’s a Black Samsung T9 2GB. I mihgt get a new one soon, the 2GB is too small! I might end up getting a 8 GB Zune, but it depends, of course on prices.
